The king of prop weapons Nick Brick is back with another phenomenal reproduction. This is the D.A.R.C.I. (Data Analysis, Reconnaissance, and Cooperative Intelligence device) from Destiny 2, a sophisticated sniper rifle with some serious special features. The prop is over 43" and features a light up scope, moving trigger, sliding charging handle and removable magazine.
The M41A Pulse Rifle from Aliens is one of my favorite sci-fi weapons. Jim Cameron's design paired with Simon Atherton's prop making skills made for a perfect combination of futuristic and plausibility, you just buy it. Builder Missing Brick has assembled one of the smallest, cutest (if a badass military weapon can be cute) versions I've ever seen, with startling accuracy for it's scale. I just wanna pick it up and go "pew pew".
Kingsman - The Secret Service was one of my favorite films of 2014, and I'm very much looking forward to the sequel out later this month. I'm not the only fan eagerly waiting for it, builder Burglerhobbit is so hyped he built some amazing props from the first film. Hopefully The Golden Circle will inspire a few more builds.
Weapon builder extraordinaire Nick Brick is back with another stunning rifle. This is the M8A1 from the game Call of Duty Black Ops II, and it's pretty badass. It features a moving trigger, removable magazine, sliding ambidextrous charging handle with centering tab, and detachable working reflex sight. I can't help but think that somewhere in Nick's house there's a room that's starting to look like Big Daddy's in Kick Ass.
To quote Han Solo, "I like this". It's one of the more unusual weapons of the Star Wars universe, the wookie bowcaster. And while it's very unconventional (is it a crossbow? what does the cable fire?) it's always been a favorite of mine, if only because it's what Chewbacca carries, and Chewbacca is awesome. A stellar prop recreation by builder Lego Admiral.
Fans of World of Warcraft might recognize this iconic weapon by builder Bangooh, the Doomhammer. I think if I was heading into battle I'd want something sharp and stabby, but some warriors prefer a more blunt instrument, something in the smashy smashy category.
