Builder Norton74 is bringing back Blacktron in a big, black way. Check out this intimidating beast, the B-59. It's equipped with six wheels, machine gun, a rotating turret and loads of other features. It's based on the U-59 Explosive Truck from Joe 90, a British series that I need to go learn more about. Check out the awesome video below for more features of this marvelous build.
Blacktron came along a little late for me. When they hit the scene I was trying to break into the film industry, and stay alive, so I didn't visit the toy department much. But as an OG classic space fan I do have a fondness for the darker side of space. This station by builder I Scream Clone looks ready to defend itself with a seriously big laser cannon. It was built as part of a collaboration for Brickvention 2018.
Yes, you read that right, Blacktron Gremlin. This month's LUGNuts challenge was all about cars with an official LEGO theme, so builder Lino M took one of the most beloved themes of all time... and paired it with an AMC Gremlin. Despite this questionable decision, the results are pretty stellar.
There's no description on this MOC by builder David_Alexander_Smith, so it's up to my imagination to figure out how this fits in the Blacktron universe (like that's a problem). Meet Blacktron Kong, the bipedal mech invented by Thaddeus Shvenkle of the 76th Space Division- Oracle Base Unit. Kong was built for remote exploration on the uneven and diverse terrain of Novus 6. His ape-like structure allows for high mobility in the jungle regions as well as the rocky plains. Kong has a crew of up to 4 explorers, but is capable of being driven by a single pilot. His total mission time is 76 hours under normal use and his energy source is classified at this time.
Luxurious loft apartment with adjacent landing pad. This amazing glass enclosed loft overlooks the wondrous black tar sea of Karkonia. The attached landing platform will accommodate most personal craft (plasma induction lift thrusters not recommended) and is situated low to preserve the view. Easy access to the lower level state-of-the-art kitchen and pilot ready room. Soak away the stresses of intergalactic travel with the indulgent Jacuzzi located on the second floor. Available mid-May, serious inquiries only.
Blacktron MOCs are rare anymore, especially ones as cool as this offering from -=Steebles=-. The mechanical linkages look real enough to make this thing walk. And all black or mostly black models are notoriously hard to photograph (no really, don't do it to yourself!) especially in such a way they can be seen against a black background, this is well done.
