Normally you might use a pickup for hauling stuff. I mean, hay bales, party kegs, furniture and boxes and boxes of LEGO aren't going to deliver themselves. But in the case of this badass pickup by builder Lino M, it's purpose in life is to do two things: go very fast, and make a heck of a lot of noise while it does it.
This month's LUGnuts challenge has certainly been eventful. It's not hard to imagine why since it's the 100th (!) and they're doing it up right. Builder Moritz drew "fire engine" and as you can see, he ran with it. Inspired by FDNY's iconic lime green engines, this beast looks as capable as starting as many fires as it puts out, but it would certainly be awesome to see in action.
I'm very fond of vintage VW. As I've stated before my first car was a Beetle (well, technically it was a lifted Chevy Luv, but that was short-lived). But my third car was a VW Type 2 Transporter (AKA bus). But it was nothing near as cool as this...actually, it was a bit of a piece of crap, but I liked it. I like this too. Nice work as always Lino.
