Red Five Standing By...

Did you guys know I was a Star Wars fan? I might have mentioned it before, dunno. Over my lifetime obsessed with this movie I've built quite a few X-Wings, out of a variety of materials, but nothing rivaling the scale and badassness of this beast by crash_cramer. The proportions, color and attention to detail in this thing is staggering. It's over 30 inches long and probably weighs a proverbial ton, but dammit I want to swoosh it!

"Good Luck, And May The Force Be With You"

What better way to start off a Friday than with a cool little Star Wars MOC. This isn't the greatest photo, but I really dig these micro scale X-Wings by Miro78. The use of the doors as wings and the printed round tiles is inspired. The nose is a little funny, maybe just a cheese slope would have worked. And before anyone comments, I know and I'm sure Miro knows that the S-foils would not be in attack position while in landing mode.

Big Models, Motion Control Cameras And Optical Printing

While pondering what to title this post, and what to write right here, I became seriously nostalgic for some good old fashion visual effects. When men were men and we blew stuff up. I also realized it's been way too long since I've screened ROTJ, so if you'll excuse me, I have some movie watching to do.
