I can hardly contain my excitement for this. My little brick film Batman vs Superman is the cover story of issue #34 of BrickJournal! And as if that wasn't exciting enough my Star Wars #1 cover is featured in the article about Brandon Griffith's Comic Bricks. I'm a happy nerd.
Excitement is growing here in Seattle as the first day of BrickCon kicks off. And what better way to get going than to reflect on the past and present of the convention with a special edition of BrickJournal? And wouldn't it be great if it was free? Be careful around page 28, there's some surly characters and disturbing images, just sayin'
San Diego Comic-Con is only a few days away. If you're attending I'd like to invite you to a panel, BrickJournal: LEGO as an Art Form. It's on Saturday at 5:00PM in room 23ABC. It features BrickJournal's Joe Meno, LEGO Artist and STUDS founder Brandon Griffith, world famous LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya and me (wait a minute, me?) Yes, for some reason I was invited to sit on this panel with three totally awesome AFOLs, go figure.
