LEGO Community Headlines and Highlights for March 2022

The LEGO community is lucky to have so many blogs, magazines and channels that create amazing content about our hobby. Here at BrickNerd, we celebrate getting nerdy about the bricks! This past month, we’ve visited LEGO communities in Ukraine, Portland, Las Vegas and the UK. We’ve celebrated women, explored Belville baseplates, built big, and customized small. We’ve explored karate, what AFOLs think of LEGO cons, debated sets vs parts and dove deep into a rainbow heart—not to mention our own mundane contest (reminder, deadline is today)! We’ve published so many interesting articles, that we’ve included an interactive calendar of them at the bottom of this post so you can make sure you didn’t miss a thing.

But there are many more fascinating stories to be told from within the LEGO community, so here are some of the best LEGO articles that caught our contributors’ attention throughout the month of March. We applaud the effort that went into each of these features, so click on the headlines or photos to head to each story or video. They are well worth your time!

Rambling Brick: Classic Themes - Defining Classic Space

The recent arrival of the 2022 LEGO City Space sets has left some people myself included, wondering if the spirit of Classic Space has returned, while others remained unsatisfied, stating reasons of not enough blue and grey, an absence of transparent yellow, or that the blue in the windscreens was just not dark enough. Rebrickable: Dust, the Eternal Battle

“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes” - This quote comes from Ben Franklin in 1789.
