The Orb

Fans of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy should recognize the MacGuffin of the film, the Orb, an ancient and mysterious artifact of unspeakable power. Everybody wants it (at least until they know what it is) and Ronan will stop at nothing to possess it. Builder buriedbybricks masterfully recreates the prop in brick form. The use of the Death Star halves here, as well as the fiber optics, is inspired.

The Mask Of Starlord

You know...Starlord? Oh c'mon, you've never heard of him? From builder Orion Pax comes this sweet reproduction of the mask from Guardians of the Galaxy. I don't know if it's actually wearable, but the scale is very close to 1:1. And as if that wasn't enough the eyes glow with the aid of some light bricks.

Guardians of the Galaxy mania continues to sweep the world. I knew when I saw this guy on the screen that he would be built, if not by somebody else, then by me. Luckily Legohaulic came through and now we can all marvel (get it?) at him in adorable brick mode. Hmm, is this MOC a spoiler?

Rocket

Guardians of the Galaxy continues to do brick, err I mean brisk business at the box office, and it's a toss up between Rocket and Groot as far as everyone's favorite character. My favorite is Rocket, no hesitation, and since Powerpig chose him for his first GotG Brick Sketch, I assume he's his fave too.

What's A Racoon?

Everyone has Guardians of the Galaxy fever right now. It's a fun film with great characters, and this is, in my opinion, the best of all, Rocket. The cybernetically enhanced raccoon is not only the most sarcastic and funniest of the bunch, he also is a complete badass. This version by Sir Nadroj is excellent.
