Crossbow Fighter-Bomber

More tributes to Nnenn continue to show up, like this nifty little craft by Doctor Mobius. The color scheme on this is great, very eye-catching. My favorite details are the checkerboards on one size with a subtle asymmetry on the other side and the little 1x1 round tiles on the sides. It's small attentions to detail like this that separate a good MOC from a great MOC.

If you've been into the AFOL scene for a while and you're a fan of space, you've probably heard of Nnenn. Before his untimely passing nearly three years ago he was one of the most influential and talented builders in the community. His work continues to inspire builders all over the world. Right now there's a Tribute to Nnenn Challenge going on Flickr and this build by James Asbury is an entry. It's a fitting tribute to an amazing builder.
