One of the most entertaining aspects of Iron Builder is the smack talk and oneupmanship that happens between the builders Take this brilliant transforming Viking from Starcraft II by One More Brick for example. It was built in direct response to yesterday's amazing siege tank from the same game.

Starcraft 2 Siege Tank

I never played Starcraft, or any of it's sequels, but after seeing this mighty beast by Legopard I'm certainly interested. This is the siege tank, a mobile gun platform designed for one single purpose, take a very large weapon, move it some place, and level some stuff.

Your base is under attack!

As we roll into the biggest AFOL conventions of the year, one of the best things to see is all of the wonderful collaborative efforts that builders come out of the woodwork with. This year is no different, with nine different builders pooling their collective talents on a huge Microscale Starcraft II project. I've selected some of my personal favorites below, but you can view all of them in the group's Flickr pool. And since I was a die-hard Terran player in my day, I can't resist - YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME, BOY?!?!

Siege Tank

Talk about awesome, this StarCraft 2 siege tank from drakmin is so well designed, built, photographed and edited that it looks more like box or concept art. But no, it's an actual MOC and it's totally badass. Yes, it's been around for a while, but this picture is new so I don't know if I'd call it MOCstalgia or not, hmmm.
