[Our current monthly LEGO contest round-up can be found here.]

Ready for another month of competitive building? Here’s another batch of LEGO contests from all around the AFOL community for you to find some inspiration and motivation! There’s nothing quite like a theme or a prompt to take you out of your comfort zone and give you something new to try. Besides, contests are the perfect place to interact with other contestants and judges and get to know your fellow builders. And if you’re like me, a deadline helps make sure you actually finish!

We’ve listed them in order of deadline, so you can plan your building time to the best advantage. Here at BrickNerd, some of our fondest memories, greatest building achievements, coolest trophies, and best friendships came from LEGO contests, so we really hope you try some of these out. We look forward to seeing what you build!

If you’ve been enjoying LEGO’s fan-designed gifts with purchase, you’ll be happy to see another of these same contests! With a 250 part limit, it’s also perfect for those who prefer creating smaller, more finely crafted MOCs.

Deadline: March 8th

Prize: First place, besides getting turned into a new gift with purchase set, receives: 10 copies of the final Gift with Purchase set, 92176 LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V, 21321 LEGO Ideas International Space Station, 10266 LEGO Creator Expert NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander, 75300 LEGO Star Wars Imperial TIE Fighter, 40335 Space Rocket Ride, 40448 Vintage Car, and a LEGO Ideas tote bag.
