An Extra Helping of LEGO Turkey
/Alright BrickNerd fans! It’s Thanksgiving in the US of A, so we all know what that means, right?!? Tryptophan coma? Binge-watching football? Playing Pull-My-Finger with your eccentric uncle? No, no and no.
You guessed it: A LEGO turkey round-up! I hope you’re still hungry!
So let’s kick it off with a build from my old pal Dave Kaleta. Before he was hamming it up on LEGO Masters season two, he was building turkeys. This handsome fellow dates back to 2015, a reshoot of a previous creation. Too bad there wasn’t a turkey category on the show, he would have had a real leg-up on the competition!
Next, let’s do a deep-dive on this MOC by builder Ghalad. A recent build for his LUG’s monthly challenge, he opted to combine nautical and Thanksgiving themes into one. Looks like this tom can’t wait to gobble up that fish he caught!
Caleb Wagoner combined themes as well, with Novvember and Thanksgiving. A turkey vic viper: why not, right?!? With speed and agility, this little fighter would seriously baste its enemies.
Feast your eyes on this! Timofey Tkachev created a fully transformable roasted turkey back in 2017. But I think if this guy went up against Optimus, he’d probably get the stuffing knocked out of him!
This turkey’s certainly no chicken! Tyler the Legohaulic and LEGO Masters US season one champ went full Rambo with this build, entitled Not This Year! Looking like he’s ready to ruffle some feathers with that gun, the grenade, and even the head-band, he sure seems to be in a fowl mood!
