LEGO Contest Round-Up for September 2026
/September is here, and judging by the contest line-up this month it’s surely trying its best to have us forget Summer. There is plenty on offer – be it pirates, trains, or space – so get ready to be inspired and have fun building!
We’ve listed them in order of deadline so you can plan your building time wisely—especially in a month that always seems to fly by. Be sure to check the LEGO activity calendar for local challenges and events near you. Some of our fondest memories, proudest builds, coolest trophies, and strongest friendships started with a contest entry, so we hope you’ll jump in and give one (or two) a try.

Bio-Cup, the prime LEGO Constraction contest, is back, and this year, the format is changing. No eliminations, all that matters are your top three entries across four rounds, free for anyone to enter.

Known stormtrooper variants are often specialised, at times redundant but always needlessly specific – time to design your own ones and make those Imperial military ranks more bloated than ever!

The Brick Train Awards are back after taking a break in 2025. Train enthusiasts can enter 17 categories, with a home for everything from full consists to specific types of locomotives or wagons, and three categories for TFOLs specifically.

Always fancied making a LEGO stop motion film? Bricks in Motion is hosting their annual brickfilm contest – go make a movie! This time you are asked to combine bricks with real life elements – sounds intriguing!
