There’s a lot of information about 2×4 LEGO bricks and other old LEGO items out there, though scattered across many sites. The Brick Archive is trying to change that to preserve LEGO history, but how did it get started?

I don't read or speak German, so I haven't a clue why builder grubaluk received 1000 2x4 tan bricks from 1000stein, but he turned them into something wonderful. Keep in mind that only 2x4 bricks were used to build this, and if you've ever tried to build something with just those bricks you'll appreciate how difficult it can be,
Now here is a Transformer I can get excited about. Builder Moko has taken the classic 2x4 brick and given it the Transformers treatment, and the results are pretty impressive. It's relatively seamless and you just wouldn't suspect what it turns into, I guess you could say it's a...wait for it... robot in disguise.
