I will admit that the first thing that caught my eye about these wonderful little Shibas by builder ZiO Chao was the fact that they have the same color combinations of my corgis Teemo and Lulu. Then when I viewed his photostream I was delighted to see a pair of corgis that could be them! As a side note I tried to show Teemo and Lulu, but they're only interested in getting their morning walk, perhaps when we get back...
They don't call dogs "man's best friend" for nothing, we've had a special relationship with canines for thousands of years. Some of these dogs take it to the next level, helping humans in their daily life doing important work like law enforcement and safety and guiding the blind. If there's two things going on at my house, it's Christmas and Corgis. We have two Pembroke corgis at our house, Teemo and Lulu. Teemo is tan and white, and loves Christmas, just like this absolutely adorable creation by BrickinNick. I just tried to take a picture of Teemo wearing a Santa hat to share with you all, it didn't go well.
At my house the corgi's are getting into the spirit of Christmas. There's the repeated high speed passes under the tree, shaking the ornaments off. The systematic dismantling of the tubes that ribbon and wrapping paper come on. The occasional theft of a Santa hat for nefarious reasons. Actually, come to think of it, I'm not sure they're fans. But this terrier by bricks.life.idea is clearly into it with his awesome antlers.
These are so very charming. Kosmas Santosa has started what I hope is a long series of dog MOCs. Each is a specific breed and they're all adorable. The pictures almost look like illustrations they're so well done, and I wouldn't be surprised to find them in a book (hint hint Kos). I'm hoping a Corgi is on the list if there's going to be more of these.
