Read MoreBuilder vitreolum gave no indication of who this is in the description, so it’s up to me. Meet Veronica Winter, Santa’s personal assistant and aspiring pin up girl. While Santa isn’t terribly supportive if her aspirations, she is the best assistant he’s ever had. Before she came along mail was occasionally lost, milk and cookies might not be readily available and “the list” was never quite up to date. But as much as Veronica loves her job all she really wants is to be pictured on the nose art of the sleigh, something I never new was needed, but I have to agree that would be pretty awesome. Her attempts to prove her worthiness tend to just embarrass Santa, who has given her more coveralls than anyone needs. And Mrs Claus is at her wits end to say the least. When things calm down after Tuesday she’s gonna “have a little talk” with Veronica.
Dear Santa,
I know this is last minute, but here’s my list…
Bandai Perfect Grade 1/72 Millennium Falcon
Brother SE600 Embroidery Machine
Prusa SL1 kit
Darth Vader black series helmet
Bench top bandsaw
Nintendo Switch
LEGO 71043 Hogwarts Castle
oh, and peace on earth and building skills as good as vincentkiew
Here’s what happens when Christmas traditions and classic fables collide. Santa Wolf isn’t worried about huffing and puffing, and I don’t think he intends to blow anything down, but heading down that chimney with a surprise for mr. pig seems to be on his mind. A whimsical holiday mashup by builder DOGOD Brick Design.
I’m guessing most kids out there who find some winter sporting goods under the tree Christmas morning don’t realize that it’s already seen some action. You see Santa takes quality control very seriously, and tests every piece of equipment personally, as seen in this awesome MOC by LEGO 7. Now there’s some at the workshop who think it’s just a lame excuse to go play in the snow, and they are on the naughty list for even thinking it.
As the end of the year quickly approaches I hope you’ve all been good boys and girls, because Santa is coming. Right about now he’s checking lists and the elves are working overtime to get everything ready. You know who’s not getting coal in his stocking? Builder bauer585 that’s who. Check out this little tribute the the man in red here, a warm, cozy little setting with everyone’s favorite gift being delivered inside a gift.
Coca-Cola, Christmas and Santa are undeniably interwoven. Coca-Cola ads in the 1930's helped popularize the modern version of Santa, with his red coat, jolly demeanor and snow white beard. While they didn't invent this version of him, they did cement him into western culture. So seeing him on the side of this wonderful truck by builder Lasse Deleuran just says "Christmas" to me. The truck is also fully remote controlled thanks to an SBrick.
Christmas is celebrated all over the galaxy, and since it's a big place, naturally Santa needs a hand from time to time. Luckily he's got Benny, who seems to love Christmas almost as much as spaceships. Benny has quite the sleigh, in fashionable classic space colors. And who needs flying reindeer when you have four turbo engine pods? Rudolph approves.
Christmas is less than a week away, and Ochre Jelly is getting into the spirit (well, sorta). Meet the Humbugz, adorable lumps of unattractiveness from the north pole. In the proud tradition of REJECTZ, these are so far beyond ugly they somehow become cute again. With teeth like that I'm not sure Santa could even eat a cookie, but I can assure you everyone's getting a lump of coal.
Christmas is just over a week away, so preparations at the North Pole have to be absolutely frantic. And with the growing world population of kids (and adult kids like me) means that Santa has just a few more visits every year. Luckily builder Norton74 has a solution to this, by souping up the sleigh into a hot rod. Though the flight characteristics are not clear, on the snow it looks like it really moves.
If there's two things going on at my house, it's Christmas and Corgis. We have two Pembroke corgis at our house, Teemo and Lulu. Teemo is tan and white, and loves Christmas, just like this absolutely adorable creation by BrickinNick. I just tried to take a picture of Teemo wearing a Santa hat to share with you all, it didn't go well.
I was just sitting here lamenting my LEGO Star Wars advent calendar (I've recognized one thing so far and the box keeps ripping) when I discovered this absolutely stunning advent calendar from kjm161. And if you think the outside is impressive, not only does it have a daily surprise for the countdown to Christmas, it's got a fully detailed and richly decorated interior. You owe it to yourself to click through and check out the many pictures of this wonderful holiday MOC.
It's December 3rd, so we're still three weeks away from the night jolly old Saint Nicholas comes down the chimney (seen here brilliantly realized by builder vincentkiew). I hope those adults reading this can take a moment to think of the children. Right now, all over the world, they are in anguish. For time passes more slowly this time of year, so slow in fact it's functionally immeasurable. I can sorta relate, I've been waiting for my new 3D printer for three weeks. Be strong kids, you can do this.
There's no escaping it, Christmas is coming, and coming fast. Thankfully I'm more than ok with this. With everything else going on in the world, I could really use some cheer. So I love everything about this charming scene by builder LEGO 7. Sleighs are so outdated, Santa should totally roll in a spiffy red convertible!
