Little Kylo Cracks Me Up

We’ve been seeing Young Kylo comics since The Force Awakens premiered, and the ones by famed Disney illustrator Brian Kesinger are by far my favorite. There’s a very intentional Bill Watterson Calvin & Hobbes vibe to them, and they’re adorable. Builder NS Brick Designs is clearly also a fan, and was inspired by the comic below to build this snow man in carbonite ornament, brilliant.

Snowman

It doesn't snow here where I live in California, so snowmen have always been a source of fascination to me. Of course I've visited the snow, and built snowmen, but it always seemed a bit novel to me that people can spend the entire winter with one of these guys guarding their front yard. Well now thanks to builder Swan Dutchman, we have one guarding the blog roll.

Ho Ho Huh?

Christmas is less than a week away, and Ochre Jelly is getting into the spirit (well, sorta). Meet the Humbugz, adorable lumps of unattractiveness from the north pole. In the proud tradition of REJECTZ, these are so far beyond ugly they somehow become cute again. With teeth like that I'm not sure Santa could even eat a cookie, but I can assure you everyone's getting a lump of coal.

When The Weather Outside Is Frightful....

....But the fire is so delightful, and since we've no place to go, build LEGO! Build LEGO! Build LEGO! Maybe build a nice holiday-themed diorama, like this one by Firas Abu-Jaber. He's known best for his cars, but I've got a soft spot for LEGO penguins and the one he built here is just adorable.
