Read MoreMe and Mrs BrickNerd are super excited to be in the absolutely charming Paredes de Coura for Fan Weekend 2017. Things are just getting started but the warm reception, lovely people, amazing creative spaces and hospitality so far has been overwhelming. We're already huge fans of this event and the people that run it. Looking forward to the next three days.
BrickSlopes is only three weeks away, I hope you have your travel plans all buttoned up. There's going to be amazing MOCs on display, games to play and friends to make. All that and for some reason they want me to make the keynote (I really should finish that). I haven't been to Utah in almost 20 years so I'm looking forward to being back and I hope I'll see you there!
BrickSlopes is a LEGO fan event in Orem Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City. For some reason they invited me to be the keynote speaker this year (really? Me? What were those guys thinking?). So mark your calendars, make your travel plans and I'll see you at BrickSlopes in June!
Earlier this week, BrickNerd contributor Sid attended a special, family-friendly preview event in Midtown Manhattan where he caught a preview of a new themed room at the LEGOLAND Hotel at LEGOLAND Florida Resorts. Here's his report.
Read MoreMark your calendars because Brick Magic is back this year on May 9-10th. Celebrate Mother's Day in LEGO style and come see some amazing MOCs and me! Yes, for some strange reason TwoMorrows and BrickJournal thought I would be a good special guest and have invited me to attend. So make plans to get to Concord NC this May and I'll see you there!
If you're going to be in the Raleigh North Carolina area next month head over to Brick Universe. Brick Universe is a four day private and public event at the Raleigh Convention Center. Builders can enjoy four days of events and activities on March 26-29 and the public is welcome on the 28th & 29th to check out all the amazing creations.
We set up STUDS and Comic Bricks last night, the display looks amazing. I also have the set from Batman Vs Superman set up and the movie will be playing next to it.
If you can, get yourself to Pasadena and come visit (I have stickers!)
I'm looking forward to attending DesignerCon 2014 this weekend. I'll be displaying some MOCs and my contribution to the ComicBricks art show (if I can get it finished!). If you've never been to DesignerCon I strongly encourage you to come check out all the designer toys, art, apparel and loads of other way cool stuff.
I'm also super excited to be showing an exclusive preview of my new animated film, Batman Vs Superman. See it at the show before you can download it! The sets from the film will also be on display. I'll have some stickers and if you're really nice a handful of Nerdly printed bricks. Come down to the Pasadena Convention Center this weekend and I'll see you there!
I'd also like to send a HUGE shoutout to fabulous Paul Lee for doing the artwork for the poster, it's phenomenal!
