S.H.A.D.O. Interceptor

Despite being almost unknown in the US, I distinctly remember having a toy of this vehicle as a kid (I also recall losing the missile, heartbreak), the UFO S.H.A.D.O. Interceptor. I recall the show being long on talking and slow on action, but having the coolest theme music ever. So the moment I saw this brilliant version of the ship by builder Norton74, the memories came flooding back, and now the theme song is stuck in my head.

S.H.A.D.O. Mobile Evo

For those that are familiar with it, you know that UFO was a pretty cool series. It had awesome vehicles, gripping action (eventually), groovy hairdos and one of the best themes ever. It didn't get much airplay in the US, but I was always a Gerry Anderson fan, and when it was on, I was watching. So this excellent S.H.A.D.O mobile evo from Norton74 gives me the warm fuzzies.

Rescue Eagle

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Space:1999. Back when we were kids we had a hard time getting through any given episode, there was just so much talky talky. But we still tuned in even if we were playing with space toys while it was on in the background. Builder and Gerry Anderson buff Bricks for Brains has crafted a perfect rescue Eagle here seen on pad 5. I just wanna swoosh it!

Epic Thunderbird 3

Entertainment on TV was a little scarce when I was a kid, we only had like 5 channels. And in a landscape flooded with reruns of I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore and Adam 12, stuff for kids was hard to find. Except on Saturday morning, when we ruled the airwaves. Thunderbirds wasn't on very often, so when we happened across it we were glued to the screen. Gerry Anderson's Supermarionation kept us completely captivated as we obliterated an entire box of Cap'n Crunch. Yes, the puppets were a little unsettling, the ships were a bit garish, the plots were thin and the visual effects were a bit cheesy...and we loved every second of it. Builder Bricks for Brains was clearly a fan too, and this totally awesome MOC of Thunderbird 3 is a work of art.
