Long Range Scout

Feast your eyes on the NCS greebly goodness that is hhcBrick's Long Range Scout. It's got all the hallmarks of neo classic space, classic blue and light grey, yellow canopies, bumble-bee stripes and fantastic retro style design. But the real jaw dropper on this craft is when you flip it over. Proper greebs should look functional as well as complicated, not just a bunch of stuff attached, this is how it's done!

MCU Rover

Space is a dangerous place. Let's face it, without a significant amount of technology humans would simply be frozen meatsicles floating around the void. Luckily we're reasonably clever, and in the future we can look forward to tooling around distant planet surfaces in machines like this awesome behemoth by hhcBrick. I don't know what they're collecting and I don't care, I just want to go for a ride.

Locust

When you hear the word "locust" what do you think of? A mostly harmless grasshopper-like small insect? A plague of mostly harmless grasshopper-like small insects capable of destroying entire crops and devastating everything in their path? How about a neo classic space twin engine gunship? Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, thanks to builder ZCerberus.

Saberkitty

The most efficient form of planetary vehicle is by far a wheeled transport...it's also the most boring. And let's face it, Unikitty is anything but boring, so of course she has opted for a four legged, saber toothed walking mech. Obviously it's equipped with state of the art communications and weapons, but if I know Unikitty, it's also got a pretty slammin' sound system too. Nice build thenewpoon.

Epic Space Collaboration

This is a wonder to behold. This is what happens when seven of the best space builders on the planet pool their resources and build together. This space base is the collective work of Jason Briscoe (Brizzasbricks), Gary Davis (Bricks for Brains), Tim Goddard (Rogue Bantha), Andrew Hamilton (Wami Delthorn), Alec Hole (hhcBrick), Rhys Knight (Mister Bricks) and Peter Reid (Legoloverman). It's a true dream team of builders, and the results are jaw-dropping, I strongly encourage you to click here to see many more pics.

Galaxy Explorer

The Galaxy Explorer (and the original space theme for that matter) is a classic. The only evidence you need to see the absolute affection the community has for this craft is the continual homages paid to it. I myself have created one, and I was given one as a gift. And builder ZCerberus has crafted this gorgeous tribute to the venerable ship, carrying on the tradition.

Tregatis VI Mining Operation

I hope you were in the mood for some serious Neo Classic Space because this is pretty epic. Welcome to the Tregatis VI Mining Operation, by Brick Knight. According to the builder Tregatis VI is a uninhabited planet located in the Pegasus galaxy. The CS explorers discovered the planet contains a rare mineral that has great potential as an energy source. Click through for many more pictures and get a good look at this huge layout.

Mega Core Vehicle Platform

FebRovary is here, and builder ZCerberus is back with an ultra-flexible and humungous neo classic space offering. This is the M.C.V.P, or Mego Core Vehicle Platform, a multi-use, reconfigurable lunar vehicle with a multitude of variants. Here you see it in a couple of configurations, including a BrickNerd exclusive double ion cannon and twin phased pulse rail gun mode. Check out more configurations and the whole story on Eurobricks.

Hornet

It's been a while since we've featured some good old Neo Classic Space. I really like the use of the large canopy and staggered seating of the pilot and gunner in this fighter by ZCerberus. It's sort of a optimistic future aesthetic mixed with modern apache kickassery. I think if I saw this coming over the horizon I'd be simultaneously sincerely admiring and pooping my pants.

Galactic Surf Is Up, Dude

Here's a mashup I can get behind, a classic VW type 2 bus at neo classic space! What better way to find all the tasty waves in the galaxy than strapping your board to the roof of this baby and jetting to the nearest intergalactic beach? Click through to see Builder Priovit70's other space creations, including the type 1 beetle equivalent of this radical ride.

LL 122

One of the first comments on this MOC by I Scream Clone is "Thought this was by Peter Reid. Looks fantastic". I can think of no higher praise than to be compared to Legoloverman (and if I'm not mistaken he's got a cameo there in the green suit). This neo classic space beauty sports an unusual shape, with it's twin mandibles and foreshortened hull. But the color scheme, greebly goodness and classic color scheme hit all the right notes. The hangar is a pretty sweet addition too, and the perfect way to display this craft.

Spacebase, Spacebase, SPACEBASE!

We featured these outstanding neo classic spaceships as builder ZCerberus was unveiling them last week, now comes the final grand presentation. Check out this massive and totally awesome landing platform base! From the subtle details and rock work to the cool lighting effects this is fitting way to display all these sweet ships.

Monarch & Wasp

Builder Zcerberus continues to delight with daily releases of fantastic Neo Classic Space ships. I like how they're all completely different from each other, yet look like a unified team or series. I especially like the Monarch, with it's dropship-like appearance looks especially fierce. Judging by the description of the first offering, the Firemoth, we can look forward to at least one more, but I couldn't help myself and had to post these two.

Firemoth

I was just thinking yesterday that it's been a while since I've seen a good old neo classic space ship. Thankfully builder ZCerberus came along to slake my nerdy lust with this lovely craft. It has an unusual shape, far more round and snub-nosed compared to most ships, and that's what I find most appealing. With the impression of large turbines in the wings it almost looks like a VTOL, making for some cool takeoffs in my imagination. This thing looks ready to protect the galaxy.
