Read MoreI’m not at all familiar with the anime Ergo Proxy, but I know a good build when I see one, and this is a VERY good build. Sheo has captured the likenesses of the characters perfectly, and uses slope pieces to great effect.
Eero Okkenen has come up with another stunning figure making use of those nifty "orient-esque" pieces from the Final Flight of Destiny's Bounty Nijago set. Now, as all of us anglers know, the red lady of the stream refers to the Grayling species of freshwater fish. So creating a literal yet mythological interpretation is certainly an intriguing concept, and I'd argue worthy of an entire anime series.
If you've never seen it, I highly recommend checking out The Big-O. It's one of my all-time favorite anime series. If Bruce Wayne had a giant mech instead of a batsuit, that's basically the show. Master builder Moko has recreated the mech from the series with stunning accuracy and detail (complete with Roger and Dorothy minifigs). I think it's time for a Big-O binge-watch.
Yes, this is an awesome model of the bike from the classic anime movie. But what's even MORE awesomer is the fact that it actually works. Yeah, that's right, builder Sariel rigged with power functions! Check out the video highlighting all of the features. Just couldn't believe he let the hamster drive it...
