Big Mech, Bigger Legs

When building giant mechanical machines, many builders are often conflicted with one important question: What's the perfect recipe for an awesome mech? Well according to Marco Marozzi all you need are some big guns and some even bigger legs. I mean, look at those things! One thing for sure, this mech has not been skipping leg day at the gym.

AL-PARAGON

Who doesn't love mecha? This MOC from Lu Sim is gorgeous. I dig the suit-of-armor aesthetic, and the use of the translucent castle door piece as a laser sword is a stroke of genius. He looks like he's ready to square off against a mecha-dragon and save the mecha-princess (OK, I may have taken this analogy a bit too far).

Cabearpillar

Whether he needs to lift some heavy equipment on a space freighter, or get into a boxing match against an Alien Queen, this teddy bear is equipped for the task. This MOC by Priovit70 is adorable, and has some great details packed into such a small size. 

MFS-018 BloodCancer

If you're into mecha and LEGO, and somehow not already familiar with Moko's work...crawl out from under that rock. His work is fantastic. His newest creation, the aptly named MFS-018 BloodCancer, is no different. Check out the alternate photo where it transforms into crab mode! Those claws can do some serious damage.

Castle Walker

Rapunzel is back, and this time she's packing heat! This awesome mechanized Castle Walker by Sheo is a fun build, and the building technique used to make it is really interesting. If you're an evil Step-mother, you wouldn't want to cross paths with this puppy.

They call me the Seeker...

One of my perennial favorite mecha builders, Lu Sim, has upgraded an older frame, and I must say the results are stunning. Everything here looks functional, and the long range rifle looks capable of dishing out some serious hurt. I also love that the builder takes the time to craft an excellent backstory and loadout, something that adds a lot of extra flair to his builds.
