Read MoreBrickatecture returns, unveiling his brand new wearable Star-Lord / Peter Quill helmet after 3 months of hard work. This model is 100% LEGO, 100% wearable, and 100% awesome. The helmet itself barely seems LEGO, especially with all the fine hair detailing that went into this model. All of the time and parts that went into this creation sure seems to have paid off! Make sure to follow Brickatecture for more amazing life size LEGO replicas!
Brickatecture MOC Industries is back with another fantastic LEGO superheroes model, which was completed just in time for Halloween! Man is now combining LEGO and Symbiote to make this scary realistic Venom mask made 100% from LEGO elements! “This LEGO Venom Helmet is fully wearable and features a working puppet jaw (the helmet talks when you talk). It took 3 weeks to build and features about 1000 pieces.” Not only is the mask insanely cool on its own, but the builder can even wear it and operate the jaw to make Venom talk at the same time! Ridiculously cool.
I am now hungry for Tater Tots. You’re welcome.
I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot. I am Groot! I am Groot. . .
Thank you for telling us a little bit about yourself, Groot. I'll take it from here. Markus Rollbühler is clearly excited to see our favorite baby tree in existence on the big screen! Now, this little figure of Groot is excellent, especially the shaping of the head, and those cute little eyes. I think the sand green was a nice color choice, even when mixed with the olive green. I also really love the control device, with those buttons and levers. My only question is, who has the tape? Not a single person has tape? I think we should put some tape over the death button.
Here at BrickNerd, we like to occasionally do a blast from the past. . .
Arrow is one of my favorite superhero television shows that currently airs. It tells the story of Oliver Queen (AKA the Green Arrow), a familiar comic book character that is given a very dark past on this series. Today, we're sharing two separate creations of the Arrow's lair, or the Arrowcave (it should be noted that Oliver himself was against this name). Though they are built by two different builders, each interpretation gives some of the iconic appearances of the secret lair. Check out both of these MOC's, the first created by superhero builder Tim Lydy, followed by Brickwielder's version.

Your friendly neighborhood LEGO builder Vitreolum, a reputable character builder, recently created something rather strange. . .Steven Strange. "It's Doctor, actually." Right, sorry -- Doctor Steven Strange. Please don't zap me to another dimension. The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Doctor Strange film was a very intriguing film that added some of the craziness the movies needed. This model here depicts the iconic character's classic look in contrast to Benedict Cumberbatch's updated movie version. The builder utilizes an interesting detailed piece to act as the Eye of Agamotto, Mr. Strange's (I meant doctor) iconic necklace that may or may not contain an Infinity Stone. Does this inspire you to try building him yourself? Stranger Things have happened!
With the recent announcement of LEGO's very own BrickHeadz line, fans will be excited to collect a different kind of figure. Builder J.B.F. has gotten in on the action, creating his own style of collectible brick-built figures! His starring line-up contains some great characters, including: Iron Man, Batman, the Flash, Superman, Captain America, and Hulk himself! (I hope more will join the collection soon!) Each character is made with the builder's new and creative building style, displayed on a base unique to that figure. I would love to buy some of these in stores!
Action! Joy! Easter eggs! Bright colors! Good food! Superheroes! This is how a true Marvel Christmas should be done, which is exactly what Milan Sekiz did! It appears that the Avengers and the Guardians have gotten a crossover sooner than expected. Personally, I would watch a Christmas special with all of these characters uniting for the holidays, but that's just me. There are many little details in this creation, so make sure to zoom in and take a closer look! You may find some familiar items decorating their tree. . .
Yellowjacket has returned from the Microverse! How will Ant-Man defend himself?! It appears by attempting to have Yellowjacket and his friend step on a LEGO brick! I'm not sure how well that is going for our hero. . . LEGO 7 has brought us a small, but fascinating vignette depicting what possibly could happen if Yellowjacket would return. Though the insect build is the obvious focus of this creation, my favorite part is the miscellaneous LEGO bricks made (ironically) with LEGO elements. I haven't seen too many Ant-Man builds, but I hope to see many more in the future!
POW! WHAM-O! Two of your favorite Avengers have been brought to life with Tyler's creative character build technique! The remarkable recreation of these classic characters is well represented with amazing facial and body detailing. It's easy to tell that a main focus in these guys is enabling them to be posed. I personally would love to see a stop motion film using these two to recreate the great sequence in Captain America: Civil War! Whose side are you on?!
With some big, expensive releases in recent months -- Ferris Wheels, Helicarriers and Tumblers, oh my! -- I've found some comfort and, well, joy in the "smaller" sets, and in particular the licensed ones.
Read MoreJust in time for the May 1st premiere of the movie, Ryan Rydalch has created this action packed chess set: Avengers Vs Ultron. It features all your favorite heroes and villains on the board, plus a few on the sidelines offering their encouragement. I can see Hulk getting pretty fired up for a classic Lasker/Bauer combination. Always a crowd pleaser! 'Nuff said!
