The Art Of Silly Walks

I discovered Monty Python at the tender age of about 18. I had heard of things like Holy Grail, but I had no context (I probably even thought “Who’s this Monty guy?”) Well, long about 1987 I discovered PBS was showing episodes while listlessly changing the limited assortment of channels back then. As chance would have it, the episode “Face the Press” was on, and not only did I see the hilarious Piranha Brothers sketch, I was witness to one of the most iconic moments in Python lore, The Ministry of Silly Walks. I was instantly hooked, and have been a devoted fan ever since. This tribute to the venerable John Cleese by Swedish builder Rikard Stensby (aka stensbylego on Instagram) tickles my funny bone, something I really need these days.
