UNES Odyssey 21

Holy cow! This ship is jaw dropping. It's only by looking carefully you can actually see the scale. With excellent use of greeblies and a fantastic balance of broad and fine strokes it defies logic. I can just imagine it cinematically lit, gracefully making it's way to a waiting nearby moon. Awesome work Kyle.

This is a seriously impressive mech. The stance, the coloration, the detail and the design are all impressive. Combine that with good photography and this is the total package. Click through for many more pics of this awesome MOC.

What Is War? (Can I Eat It?)

Toby digs his digger, at least according to the builder of this nifty little MOC. Inspired by  D-Town Cracka's Friends Vs Fabuland Category of the 2013 Military Build Competition, it's both cute and imposing. I like the humor combined with deadly looks, but what really impresses me is that this is built from what Flickr user Galaktek describes as a "travel LEGO kit". I can truly relate, having had to do the same thing several times. The limited stock is both frustrating and challenging at the same time, but some great building can be accomplished.

Sendak Space Lines

Wow, this isn't fair, two astonishing MOCs in the same week. Mark Stafford, you are a force to be reckoned with.  This ship is amazing, the SNOT lettering and color detailing are...wow...just wow.

Hey!

Ok, we haven't heard from Navi in quite some time, and not at all in Twilight Princess, but I was trying to get your attention. I'm a sucker for Zelda, and this sweet little MOC caught my eye. Makes me want to build a tiny Skyloft. Nice work Faron! 

Sarah Connor?

The T-800 has always held a special fascination for me. I actually once owned a cast of the skull pulled from the original mold at Stan Winston's. This excellent build by Martin Latta is very faithful and wonderfully detailed. I would love to see it in a more dynamic pose.

Dragonflower Patroller

This is an amazing MOC by one of my favorite builders, LEGO's own Mark Stafford. This is inspired by Peter Elson's artwork from the Galactic Encounters book: Settlers in Space: The Fight for Survival on Distant Worlds. Just look at that use of color and brick-built detailing, stunning.

For The Shoe Horse AFOL

Flickr user Schfio makes excellent use in a "studs out" technique to render these Nike Court Tour shoes perfectly. Seriously, take a step back from your monitor and squint, it's just a pair of shoes! Nice SNOT lettering on the base too.

When You Play The Game Of Thrones...

I read GOT (ok, listened to, narrated by the great Roy Dotrice) years ago, and I'm a huge fan of the series. I've often thought during the opening sequence "somebody should build that". I've seen a couple minifigure scale offerings, but this build by Megan Correnti captures the mood perfectly. I especially like the pose, contemplative and burdened.
