Sometimes the key to good building (ok, sorry for the pun) is to mess with people's minds, or at least scale. At first it's impossible to tell how big this MOC by Legopard is, or that it's even a MOC really. But it is indeed brick-built and perfectly crafted. And once you study the picture for a bit, you realize just how big this thing is. I'd hate to see the door it opens.
You'd swear by looking at the thumbnail for this MOC by One More Brick that you were looking at a photograph of someone's pristine kitchen, but it's in fact an artfully crafted LEGO masterpiece. Just the latest in a series of fantastic MOCs as he battles with Legopard in the latest Iron Builder.
It can't be easy being the father of a beautiful girl with a preoccupation with pirates. Everyone's always trying to kidnap her, or falling in love with her, or she's off becoming a pirate herself, it's gotta be stressful. Add to that the need to wear a silly wig because of your position and status, it's a wonder Governor Swann didn't go completely mad. Nice build Legopard.
These things have been a part of the ocean horizon as long as I can remember, and so has stepping in a fun byproduct of their proximity, tar on the beach. It's so synonymous with a day at the beach around here that most people bring baby oil or lighter fluid to remove it as a standard pack-in, along with the Pringles. But then again that oil isn't going to suck itself out of the ocean floor, amiright? Nice build One More Brick.
One of the most entertaining aspects of Iron Builder is the smack talk and oneupmanship that happens between the builders Take this brilliant transforming Viking from Starcraft II by One More Brick for example. It was built in direct response to yesterday's amazing siege tank from the same game.
I never played Starcraft, or any of it's sequels, but after seeing this mighty beast by Legopard I'm certainly interested. This is the siege tank, a mobile gun platform designed for one single purpose, take a very large weapon, move it some place, and level some stuff.
That's right brick fans, another Iron Builder is here. This one pits One More Brick against Jonas and it's going to be a good one. This round the seed part is the silver Technic connector, which is a super versatile part so I'm guessing we're all in for a heck of a competition. Grab some popcorn and sit back, let the battle begin!

Nazi Germany perfected it, a small team of British scientists cracked it, and the birth of computers was the result. Legonardo Davidy brilliantly recreates this machine in bricks.
It's finally here, opening day of Star Wars The Force Awakens. I can think of no more fitting post than this brilliant new X-Wing by Legonardo Davidy. I saw the movie last night, my cheeks hurt today from all the smiling. May the force be with you all.
A little known part of Jedi training is the ability to sleep or meditate on a bed of nails. Luke never got this training since there were very few beds of nails on Dagobah. No one on the Jedi council has ever disclosed how this may be a benefit, but that didn't stop 6kyubi6 from recreating this mysterious ritual.
I'm having flashbacks to being a kid, and the agonizing wait until Christmas. Where time itself can be empirically observed to slow down, despite overwhelming scientific evidence to the contrary. I am of course talking about the four day wait I have until Star Wars comes out. Perhaps if I had this wonderful clock by Legonardo Davidy the hands wouldn't mock me to the same level.
This latest MOC by 6kyubi6 is a total flashback. Being a kid of the 80's I "invested" plenty of quarters in arcades. I especially like the use of the foil handles as air hockey paddles. And those stickers? Totally legit. They're the printing bleed on an official sticker sheet, the overprinting around stickers cut to shape, genius. The only thing that's missing is a classic Star Wars vector game, my all-time favorite.
Angler fish are just about the scariest thing on the planet in my opinion. I think I'd already be freaked out in the deep depths of the ocean, even protected in a submarine, but to come face to face with one of these things I think I'd need clean shorts after. Another brilliant build from Legonardo Davidy.
This is so awesome. I spent many, many hours breadboarding, repairing and designing printed circuit boards way back when, so this latest build from 6kyubi6 for Iron Builder resonates on many levels for me. Brilliant on every level.
I was really ready for the holiday season this year. I love listening to the music, spending time with my family, shopping for presents, drinking spiced cider, opening my letters from Cards Against Humanity and generally being jolly. I also truly enjoy all the holiday themed MOCs that pop up. This one from Legonardo Davidy not only spreads some Christmas cheer, but serves double duty as a LUG collaborative build and his latest entry in Iron Builder, pretty nifty.
Did I ever mention I'm a drummer? Well, let me clarify that, I'm a drummer in the sense that I have a drum set, and I make noise with it (or used to, it's been mothballed for ages). Of course I've never looked as cool as this cat by 6kyubi6 ready to rock your socks off
One of the classic problems when scaling down the X-Wing is keeping those iconic quad guns looking proper. This solution with the musketeer sword is pretty brilliant. We've seen countless LEGO versions of this Star Wars ship but this one by Legonardo Davidy just might be my favorite ever.
This is one of those classic situations where you might just skip over a MOC because it's so darned good it just looks like a mundane photo of an everyday object. This hand pump by 6kyubi6 may not be any good at inflating anything, but it's sure splendid to look at.
