Read MoreCustom parts (modified, chromed, printed, painted) tend to divide a lot of builders. Purists consider them "cheating" or somehow offensive. I'm actually pretty OK with them (at least the chromed and printed ones) mostly because I use them in animation a lot. It's hard to deny the results of a nicely assembled bit of quality chromed parts. You can't tell me the impact of this outrageous custom Harley by builder brickthebrick would be just the same with gray parts and limited official chrome, just look at that engine!
It's a hotrody (is that a word?) morning here at BrickNerd. The king of chrome bricksonwheels is back with another stunning and beautiful hotrod. The paint scheme and balance of chrome to color really appeals to me. I've always thought earth tone cars are the most difficult to get right, but the most gorgeous when they nail it. This one nails it.
When I saw the work in progress shot of this beast I knew we were all in for something special, and I was right. This is one of the best motorcycle MOCs I've ever seen. I've always had an admiration for custom Harleys, they have a style which makes them instantly recognizable yet totally unique, and builder bricksonwheels has captured that. The color selections here, from the contrasting greens to the custom chromed and gold plated elements make this one spectacular piece of art.

I have a bit of a weakness for retro MOCs, I'm also a fan of chrome, so this 1930's Spindizzy tether car from Sir Nadroj naturally caught my eye. Not only is it stylish and appealing, it's also 100% "legal", no custom parts or modifications, splendid!
I thought this was just a photograph of a truck. There's always a little rush of excitement to realize something you thought was real is brick built. I'm also a bit of a sucker for chrome, so this one packs a punch. I can't imagine how much was spent on custom chrome bricks but as far as I'm concerned it's a good investment, we all win.
