Read MoreI wasn't exactly sure what I was looking at when I spied Vince Toulouse's latest creation. Yeah, clearly it's a high-tech tram. But with a front-loader washing machine on the third level? Or is it a Minion? Whatever, it's pretty frakin' cool! Check out Vince's photostream to see all the nifty details, especially his notations on the various Duplo and Fabuland pieces that when into this build. Slick!
Congratulations, this minion couple by car_mp is going to tie the knot. But from the looks of it, the groom is perhaps having second thoughts. This looks a lot like a cake topper, but that would have to be a pretty enormous cake. What I really want to know is where those spiffy chromed 4x4 round plates.
I do enjoy a good mashup, and builder car_mp has brought together two things that needed to be united, Star Wars and Minions. Although, Luke would probably argue that learning from Yoda was difficult enough, now he speaks in nonsensical bursts and craves bananas? At least Lando probably never knew what the deal was so he didn't know it was getting worse.
I haven't seen the Minions movie yet, but I hear it's funny. These little yellow dudes, like this one artfully recreated by bricks.life.idea, were by far my favorite part of Despicable Me. In fact, I've never been able to get through the whole movie in one sitting, but I always enjoy the moments these guys are on screen. I also like the concept of an entire army of dedicated workers, I could really use them at the studio these days (even if they'd struggle when it comes to dealing with the banana LEGO pieces).
