Animal Kingdom

Builder city son is back after a six month hiatus and it was worth the wait. Lay your eyes on this magnificent creation featuring a tiger, mandrill (and her baby) two parrots and the reason I’m up so early this morning, a skunk! Yes, we slept with the back door open last night and right about 5am we were jarred awake by the unmistakeable odor of a skunk, my bedroom is still off limits (whew!). Welcome To The Circus

I recall going to circus when I was young. I also recall it being rather unnerving and I’ve never been back. I really got the impression those animals wanted nothing to do with what was going on, and the trapeze artists had a seriously undeveloped sense of self preservation. But I’m totally digging this circus by builder DOGOD Brick Design, from it’s pop up backdrop to the meticulously crafted and bursting with character animals, it’s all delightful.

Gladiatorial Combat

When I look at the state of the world these days and wonder if we've lost our collective minds, it's easy to forget we were never terribly bright to begin with. Tossing some guys in the middle of an arena and making them fight to death was considered rather good entertainment once. Or just a single guy, and maybe a tiger (who just wants to be left alone), that's some good fun right there. Well, it makes for a jaw-dropping MOC, that's for sure.
