Welcome To The Circus

I recall going to circus when I was young. I also recall it being rather unnerving and I’ve never been back. I really got the impression those animals wanted nothing to do with what was going on, and the trapeze artists had a seriously undeveloped sense of self preservation. But I’m totally digging this circus by builder DOGOD Brick Design, from it’s pop up backdrop to the meticulously crafted and bursting with character animals, it’s all delightful.

Bobby The Dog

It’s not very often a LEGO creation will make me laugh out loud (or make any audible noise for that matter) so when one does I know I’ll be blogging it. I could tell when I saw this cute dog MOC by tkel86 that it was mechanical, there were some clues: the lever on the side of course, but also the pins on the shoulders and feet, and possibly the jaw. But when I played the video I was delighted at the full effect. Check out the video below, it’s so worth it.

Royal Corgi

Fun fact: While blogging this wonderfully regal corgi by builder BrickinNick I happen to have two corgis on either side of me. You see, I enjoy tea and biscuits in the morning while I blog, and my corgis know it. In fact, when I put the spoon in the sink it might as well be me yelling "time for biscuits!" I'll sit at the computer and they'll sit on either side of me, and not-so-patiently wait for their little bits. Not spoiled you see, just royal, like this little guy.

Pug-riffic

There's just something so inviting about pugs. And as if they aren't cute enough on their own check out this one sporting little shoes and a bow tie. Combine that with the fact that it's made out of LEGO and it's a trifecta of squee.
