BrickNerd HQ: Halloween Spooktacular

Welcome back to a long overdue, and much-anticipated installment of BrickNerd Headquarters! (This almost took as long as that last season of Game of Thrones. Sheesh!)

Anyway, we pick things up at our World Headquarters in a strip mall just outside Poughkeepsie, NY.

El Barto: “Wow! I go away for a couple of days, and… The team really went all out with the Halloween decorations!”

El Barto: “Yikes! “

El Barto: ”That’s pretty realistic. Must be Andreas who put it together, since he’s a doctor and all.”

ElBarto: “Sounds like I’m late!”

Duggo: “Aw-ooooo! Werewolves in London!”

Inez: “Hey! Barto’s back! We weren’t going to start the party without you, but then we did…”

Simon: “Indeed. Although we’ve been hard at work bringing community-oriented content to LEGO fans all over the world, it’s important to unwind from time to time. But this baby suit is really bothering my amphibian skin…”

Liz: “This food’s WAY better than what they served on the show! Glad I dropped by to see how you guys operate here. Love the costumes! Aren’t these 3D-printed wings amazing!?”

Kitty: “We even have craft ice cubes, custom cut with my very own pick-axe. Yes, it’s a thing!”

Dave: “Welcome back, Barto! Mission accomplished?”

El Barto: “Yeah, all the necessary permits, signed affidavits, insurance documents, and security clearances are in a row. We’re all set with the folks back in Denmark. Just need to get a hair sample from everybody…”

Markus: “Excellent! It hasn’t been easy being the only one with Ultra Top Secret Clearance around here!”

Gwyneth: “That’s cause for celebration! I’m glad we’re already dressed up for the occasion!”

Isaiah: “I’ll raise my glass to that!”

Ann: “I’m actually NOT in a costume…”

Ann: “I’m in the area working on my next underwater LEGO photography piece!”

Andreas: “Mmmph. Rrrgrgrmph.”

Are: “I think he’s saying, ‘That’s cool! Looking forward to reading all about it.’ Hey, I interview athletes, so muffled words are like a second language for me…”

The Stig is clearly not amused. Who is that anyway? Dan Ko?

The front door swings open.

Don Bricaccio: “How’s everybody doin’ this evening? I just wanted to apologize for my brothers leaving their, ahem, Halloween decorations ova-here.”

El Barto: “Certainly, not a problem. gulp. Not a problem at all...”

Duggo: “Yeah! That skeleton was awesome! I was wondering where that came from.” Strums guitar.

Will: “The dried blood on the axe was a nice detail! Great paint job!”

Ted: “Kinda reminded me of one of the delivery guys I saw the other day. Part of a skeleton crew!”

Don Bricaccio: “Well, I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening.”

Leaving the headquarters, Don addresses his fellow Brothers Bricaccio.

Don Bricaccio: “Okay, they have no idea. They think it was just a decoration.”

Nicky the Neck: “Good. Otherwise we might need more ‘decorations’”!

Joe Bag-a-Doughnuts: “Hey, I thought…”

Don Bricaccio: “That’s the problem, Joey! Don’t think, just do as you’re told. We need to get ready for our own ‘party’.”

Meanwhile, everyone back at BrickNerd HQ has broken out into song.

Duggo: “Who ya gonna call!?”

BrickNerd Team: “Ghost Busters!!!”

And the BrickNerd team partied late into the night. (‘Till almost 10:30!)
