Instructions to Build a Wrapped LEGO Present Box

Every year for the holidays, I like to build a little LEGO model to share with friends and family. This year, I’ve created a LEGO present box, complete with a festive bow and a hidden surprise inside!

The present has 108 pieces and can be easily simplified or color-swapped. I wanted this model to have the same footprint and feel as our BrickNerd mascot, Nerdly, evoking the iconic red 2x2 LEGO brick.

The bow utilizes inverted curved slopes to make ribbon curl and a hidden snowflake inside uses new 2L bars—and not just for decoration! They are also used to make sure that the 1x4 white tiles on the outside of the box don’t rotate freely. What would you hide inside this wrapped present?

The entire instructions are included above or you can download a pdf of them here.

Look how cute it is next to Nerdly! And did you spot the hidden snowflake? I hope you have as much fun building it as I did designing this LEGO present box! Happy holidays everyone!
