The Pigeon

The smartest gentlemen know that getting where you're going in a hurry need not be by carriage or hansom, but by steam power.  And what better way than the Pigeon? You too can step lively and make an impression, and cut your commute by half. Why count your horse power by actual horses?

The Pigeon is the cleverest contraption these tired eyes have seen in a long time.

Great Googly Moogly!

That's a big MOC. That's a really big MOC. But size alone does not impress me, in fact I think there's too much emphasis on size sometimes. Big does not really equal great. But in this case, holy moly there's a lot to love. This is a collaborative build by oLaF LM, 74louloute and 6kyubi6 for "Fana'Briques 2013". It's immense, and there's detail everywhere you look. It has a cool steampunk meets medieval vibe I've never really seen and it works. More pics after the jump.

It's Getting Steamy In Here

Steampunk is probably one of the most difficult to define, and master, genres of building. Some MOCs you look at and instantly think "steam", others fall short. And it's usually not really apparent why. You can't just say "should have more _____ and it would work". This MOC caught my eye, it's got great posture, excellent lines and wonderful detail. And there's no doubt about it, she's steamy.
