The Incredible Hulk

Hulk, have you been juicing?  Hitting the bricks lately?  Don't get me wrong, you look good.  In fact, I prefer a brick-built look to the standard bigfig.  He's mean, he's green, he's got motion, he's got personality, and wow is he big!  And just look at those pecs and abs.  LEGO bricks seems to be the way to go for that summer body.

If you think this Hulk is incredible, then you definitely have to check out Flickr user Nicolas PICOT's other brick-built figures.

Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet

"How awesome is this?!?"  That's what I heard every time I walked by my pal Tyler Halliwell's display at Brickworld this weekend.  Among his impressive collection of busts was this new pair of builds from the Marvel Universe.  Seeing old Thanos in person was a real treat, too, once you got over the shock of how lifelike it is.  Amazing creation, Dude!

Another One Bugs the Dust

Yellowjacket has returned from the Microverse!  How will Ant-Man defend himself?!  It appears by attempting to have Yellowjacket and his friend step on a LEGO brick!  I'm not sure how well that is going for our hero. . .   LEGO 7 has brought us a small, but fascinating vignette depicting what possibly could happen if Yellowjacket would return.  Though the insect build is the obvious focus of this creation, my favorite part is the miscellaneous LEGO bricks made (ironically) with LEGO elements.  I haven't seen too many Ant-Man builds, but I hope to see many more in the future!

Nathaniel Stoner

My name is Nathaniel Stoner, and I am an very active LEGO builder.  I mostly build in the themes of castle and science-fiction, but I also dabble in other genres and create occasional random MOC's (My Own Creations).

When I was younger, I would get and build small LEGO sets for my birthday, but I was never really into them.  When they fell apart, I would become frustrated attempting to put them back together and would throw them in a box in my closet.  I couldn't stand them!

Then, miraculously, I became addicted to the LEGO brick later in my teen years.  Ever since, I have continued to build up (pun intended) my collection of bricks and to expand my knowledge of techniques and building skills.  LEGO is truly more than a toy, its an art form and a way to express yourself.

For the most part, I collect LEGO Star Wars (mainly the minifigs), which is probably my favorite LEGO theme.  I have a fairly decent collection, including some of the original 1999 sets, such as the Snowspeeder, X-Wing, and Naboo starfighter.  I also collected LEGO the Lord of the Rings when those sets first came out.  The minifigs are great, and the story remains one of my favorites ever.

My hope is to inspire other young (and perhaps even older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity!  You can find me on my Flikr here

ROM: Spaceknight

So how long before we see a ROM movie from Marvel? If Guardians of the Galaxy can become a thing, why not ROM? Sure it's a comic inspired by a terrible toy that ended up being way more cool than said toy deserved. But with all the super heroes movies coming out, this guy could be a thing too. Until then we can admire this bust by SPARKART!

Hello Ladies

It's everyone's favorite mercenary with a mouth, Deadpool. When Marvel announced that they were making a Deadpool movie everyone went nuts, but when Ryan Reynolds tweeted the first pic of him in the costume there was a collective nerdgasm around the internets. Now it's a MOC by Tim Lydy, and I'm suddenly craving cuddles and chimichangas.

Ultron

The second Avengers movie will be out soon, and Ultron will be unleashed on the world. And it won't be long until we see action figures, t-shirts and PEZ dispensers. But we didn't have to wait for the movie to come out before we got this stunning bust by builder Rancorbait. What I'm really looking forward to however is opening my door this halloween to be greeted by a 2'3" Ultron with a bag. But I'll be ready for him with a bowl of Jawbreakers, the perfect weapon against adamantium.

Marvel Mixel Masterpieces

As the world's nerd population descends upon San Diego California (this nerd included) all manner of dedication to the universe of comics and pop culture is on display. Builder monsterbrick has assembled his own band of heroes mashing up Marvel and the fabulous ball joints from the Mixels line (with a few fun eyeballs to boot). There's some seriously pose-able super hero action going on here.

I'd Visit This Park

Theme parks are another of my passion (well, Disneyland and LEGOLAND at least) and this huge MOC from OliveSeon looks like one you'd have a hard time getting me out of. Three lands are represented here, Star Wars, LOTR and Marvel, and each land is packed with detail. I'm hoping more images come soon because I want to get a closer look. For now click through and scroll around the largest size, there's lots going on.

Avengers Assemble(d)

I've never been all that much into comics, but there were certainly specific characters I enjoyed as a kid. Iron Man and Spiderman were my favorites. But I was always a bit baffled when characters from different comics were mashed together, I just didn't get it. For instance Justice League left me wondering why the hell Aqua Man was there. It wasn't until I saw Avengers that I understood how that union could really work, and work it did. Now Joel Baker has assembled (get it?) his own team in CudeDude form.
