LEGO Contest Round-Up for June 2026
/A new month is upon us which means more competitive and just-for-fun building! Are you ready? Here’s the latest bunch of LEGO contests and challenges from all around the AFOL community for June 2026 to help you find some inspiration and motivation to build! There’s nothing quite like a theme or a prompt to nudge you out of your comfort zone and push you to experiment building in ways you might not otherwise attempt.
We’ve listed them in order of deadline so you can plan your building time wisely—especially in a month that always seems to fly by. Be sure to check the LEGO activity calendar for local challenges and events near you. Some of our fondest memories, proudest builds, coolest trophies, and strongest friendships started with a contest entry, so we hope you’ll jump in and give one (or two) a try.
Pirates and jousting – what sounds odd at first was totally overlapping historically, and so it’s time to joust! Bring a knight, build across three categories with varying deadlines, and win a cool prize doing so!
Deadline: May 15th (Category A), June 8th (Category B & C)

Build something prehistoric and give it a modern twist! Be it a T-Rex on skateboards or neanderthals enjoying a matcha latte, this contest is all about being creative!
Deadline: June 10th
Prizes: Five Grand Prize winners will receive 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler, 77985 Dinosaur Fossils: Triceratops, 31379 Fierce Dinosaur, and 21362 Mineral Collection

The 13th annual Brickworld Film Festival is less than a month away – and it’ll be the biggest festival to date!
Accepting international entries, Brickworld Film Festival is looking for films between 30 seconds and 5 minutes and 30 seconds long, of any theme.
Deadline: June 10th
Prizes: $1,600 USD in prizes plus trophies across eight different awards

Umbasa LUGs monthly challenge is asking for scenes and minifigures of an adventure party made from classic LEGO parts – what a fun twist on a timeless concept!

Celebrate Pride Month and what makes you – and everyone you love – awesome! The more color, the better!

AquaJune returns for the fourth time and asks you to build underwater outposts! Build a small outpost with a 10x10 footprint, and have fun with it!

The LEGO House is yet again looking for the builds that are the best of the best for the world-famous LEGO House in Billund, Denmark.
There are three different categories for you to choose from:
Dress to Impress is all about fashion – what’s the ultimate outfit worthy of the LEGO House celebrations?
The Perfect Celebration Gift is kind of self-explanatory – be inspired by the gifts you love to give or would have loved to have gotten!
All of these are for the Home of Ultimate Celebration – and while that will be LEGO House, this category is looking for the perfect venue to host a party.
Deadline: July 1st
Prizes: 75+ winners across all three categories will each get a 21037 LEGO House Architecture set, 2 tickets to LEGO House, as well as the opportunity to have their model exhibited at the LEGO House for a year.
Three grand prize winners (one for each category) will also receive 40504 A Minifigure Tribute, 40506 LEGO Fabuland Tribute, 40507 I <3 Billund, as well as a brick-built LEGO trophy.

The latest Guilds of Historica challenge is all about technique: Build round towers from square bricks, and educate your fellow builds while doing so with WIPs and updates as you go. There’s also a second story-focused challenge!
Deadline: WIPs before May 1st, final entries July 1st
Prizes: The tower challenge offers 11373 Sauron’s Helmet and 71829 Lloyd’s Green Forest Dragon as prizes, the story-focused one might net you a 40478 Mini Disney Castle.

Eurobricks’ beloved May the 4th contest is back – with 3 different categories and lots of Star Wars MOCs to build! Will you create a set of dubious underworld characters, an alphabet starfighter or face interesting size restrictions?Whatever it may be, there’s a variety of prizes to be won!

Prizes: The winners for the three categories will receive a 20€ valued LEGO set of the winner’s choice, a 70€ valued LEGO set of the winner’s choice or a Smart Play X-Wing, respectively

With five categories and custom-built trophies to be won for each of them, you’d better be building a LEGO Star Wars creation this summer!

Summer is upon us, and with that the return of the fan-favorite annual Summer Joust!
There are plenty of fresh, exciting categories and returning favorites to ensure you have plenty of castle-building motivation for the next two months. So buckle on your brick separator and get to work!
