Another month of competitive building is upon us! Are you ready? Here’s the latest batch of LEGO contests and challenges from all around the AFOL community for November 2022 to help you find some inspiration and motivation to build! There’s nothing quite like a theme or a prompt to take you out of your comfort zone and give you something new to try. Besides, contests are the perfect place to interact with other contestants and judges and get to know your fellow builders. And if you’re like me, a deadline helps make sure you actually finish!
We’ve listed them in order of deadline so you can plan your building time to the best advantage. Make sure to check the LEGO activity calendar for local challenges and events near you. Here at BrickNerd, some of our fondest memories, greatest building achievements, coolest trophies, and best friendships came from LEGO contests, so we really hope you try some of these out. We look forward to seeing what you build!

Ignite your imagination and showcase your favorite aspects of the Dungeons & Dragons game using LEGO bricks! For more details, check out the link below!
Deadline: November 14th (6:00 am EST)
Prize: The entry selected by the judges after the fan vote will have their entry turned into an official LEGO set along with all the normal Ideas prizes and compensation that goes with it! The (up to four) other entrants to make the fan vote however will also receive the 31120 Medieval Castle, 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, and a prize package of Dungeons & Dragons goodies!

Enter Wandering Skies! With three categories (8x8 Vig and Fig, Airships, and Sky is the Limit!) and three overarching prizes as well, there are plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy this exciting new world of floating steampunk islands! Prize: The 21318 Ideas Treehouse, 21313 Ship in a Bottle, and 71746 Jungle Dragon and custom trophies by Steven Erickson for each category respectively

Show us some fun pictures of robots helping out humans at work! Think near-future, with AI robotic assistants who can help do routine and boring work or become indispensable partners in complex tasks.

Make this fun little robot your own and give him a story to tell for a chance to win an entire lineup of CMF minifigures! This giveaway is only open to Canadian residents.

Get your spells and cantrips ready because Nerdly is going on a fantastic adventure! In honor of LEGO Dungeons and Dragons and all things Middle Earth making a comeback, we want you to get creative with our mascot Nerdly in the theme of High Fantasy! Elves and dwarves, wizards and dragons, griffins and fairies and unicorns, Narnia and gnomes and Skyrim are all fair game!
Deadline: November 30th
Prize: First place winner will receive 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine signed by the designer Sven Franic, second place will receive Avatar 75574 Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls, and third place gets LEGOLAND Exclusive 40556 Mythica. Additionally, all three winners will receive our rare and shiny Golden Nerdly trophy and a BrickNerd swag box too!

Build a new LEGO MOC based on a real or fictional Black Op. Use of Brickmania products is encouraged but not required.

Eurobricks is returning to its Winter Village contest roots this December! More details will be revealed soon about the them and rules.

The Classic Castle Contest is celebrating its twentieth anniversary! Join the fun and explore the highs and lows, lords and peasants, castles and hideouts (and even fashions!) of the age of knights and chivalry!
Deadline: January 3rd

Explore the fictional world of Pandora with your own builds! Anything from landscapes or wildlife from the planet, to giant trees or the valleys - just make it breathtaking! Some Banshee, even? Show off what a beautiful place it is.
Deadline: January 5th (6:00 am EST)
Prize: Pretty much the entire LEGO Avatar lineup, along with other Avatar related goodies! Two runner ups will also receive four sets and some other good Avatar themed stuff!

Sharpen your swords and grind out your axes! With categories ranging from Microscale to Finding a medieval Waldo, Brickscalibur has something for every castle lover.
Deadline: January 15th
Prize: The builder with the highest total score across all six categories will receive 21325 Medieval Blacksmith. The team category winners will receive a brick-built trophy each. Each other category has two prizes, one a brick-built trophy, the other a set. The set prizes include 43192 Cinderella’s Royal Carriage, 21186 The Ice Castle, 60346 Barn & Farm Animals, 40567 Forest Hideout, and 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit.

Eurobricks’ Guilds of Historica is one of the oldest and longest-lasting RPGs in the LEGO community, recently celebrating its tenth anniversary, and now the final anniversary contest has rolled around with three great categories and lots of amazing prizes!
You are required to have two other Guilds-related MOCs to participate, but with a deadline early next year there’s plenty of time to hop on in and join the fun!
Deadline: February 28th
Prize: Awesome sets for first and second place in each of three categories and a raffle!
