LEGO Contest Round-Up for October 2026
/The spooky season is back, leaves are turning beautifully colorful, and one needs no more excuses to hide in a LEGO room and build! Let’s see what this month has to offer in regards to contests, challenges and other little inspirational building prompts!
We’ve listed them in order of deadline so you can plan your building time wisely—especially in a month that always seems to fly by. Be sure to check the LEGO activity calendar for local challenges and events near you. Some of our fondest memories, proudest builds, coolest trophies, and strongest friendships started with a contest entry, so we hope you’ll jump in and give one (or two) a try.
LEGO Ideas is asking for a haunting! Well, haunting creations that is – so get your bricks, get creative and build something athmospheric for Halloween!
Deadline: October 14th

It’s officially Spooky Season! Celebrate with the usual minifigure habitat format for some spooky fun MOCs. This year there are fun optional daily prompts as well as a new 16x16 category for those that want to be extra creative!

Borrowing its title from a famous movie this month’s BrickCentral challenge can really be about anything: Cute aliens, evil aliens, creatures, things, objects – just use your imagination!
Deadline: October 28th
Prizes: Just the fun of building with LEGO!
Where to enter: Threads & Discord
The LEGO Speeder Bike rally is back, and this time the emphasis is on “bikes” – airbikes to be precise. The prompt is simple: Build a messenger and their airbike – and have fun!
Deadline: November 2nd
Prize: Just the fun of building speeder bikes!
Where to enter: Flickr and Instagram
Creations for Charity is not a contest, but a prompt for something much more important: Donating MOCs to raise money to donate LEGO sets to underprivileged children around the world.
Reimbursement of cost of parts or shipping is possible if needed.
Go build a creation or donate an existing one to make this Christmas a special one!
Deadline: November 30th
Prize: Knowing you made the difference for an underprivileged child!

The Colossal Castle Contest is coming back soon! Join the fun with one of the longest-running annual LEGO contests out there!
Deadline: January 5th (tbc)

Do you have what it takes to be a Dragonslayer? Do you deserve a place at the round table with some of the best medieval builders out there? Join the epic Brickscalibur contest coming next month!
Coming on: November 1st
Prize: Each category offers custom-built prizes that will be unveiled during the first weeks of Brickscalibur.
