The Ninjago Golden Weapons

Donovan from Once Upon a Workbench is my kind of nerd. He’s a maker, a good dad and an excellent storyteller. You need to check out his YouTube channel immediately, it’s packed with all kinds of wonderful nerdiness including these life-size LEGO Ninjago golden weapons. While I’ve never been much into Ninjago, I can appreciate it’s appeal, and I can certainly get behind making cool stuff for your kids.

As a request, I carved out a Lego Ninjago sword of fire from a piece of 2x4 for my son. We've been building a lot of Lego Ninjago sets lately, and it was fun to take an idea based off a little Lego piece and make it full sized.
I didn't expect as many people to enjoy the Sword of Fire I put out, and had a bunch of request to do the other Lego Ninjago golden weapons. Here is the second build in the series: The Scythe of Quakes.
By popular demand, the Shurikens of Ice are the 3rd build in the Lego Ninjago Golden Weapons series of videos. Changing it up from the last 2 builds carved out of wood, this one uses EVA foam sandwiched with plywood.
Now that the 3 other Ninjago Golden weapons are done, it was time to turn my sites to the final, and most requested, golden weapon - Jay's nunchucks of lightning. Huge thanks to Josh at @josh_makesstuff and Wes at @geeksmithing for their immeasurable help in putting this project together.
