This massive build by Praetorian- is a minifig-scale recreation of the ancient Roman Forum of Nerva, one of the four Imperial fora, or public squares, in Rome. The architectural details in this are just fantastic, from the columns and wall patterning to the magnificent arch. I really like how clean this build is: all the spotless white makes it look like new, instead of ruined like the Roman buildings we're used to seeing. I highly recommend viewing more pictures in the Flickr album.
The visual language of builder mihaimariusmihu is as compelling as it is haunting. His latest offering of Emperor Nero echoes the story of the great fire of Rome and the controversial Emperor. The use of all black was a risky choice, but it has paid off here. I'm certain this was a chore to photograph. I love the flow of the flames and the structures on the head.
