I won't claim to have the slightest clue what the back story is on this MOC by W. Navarre. I know there's some kind of MOCpages contest, and it's sort of a T-800, and an ABS challenge maybe, I don't know. And it's a crazy morning here at BrickNerd headquarters, so I have no time to research. What I do know is this is a pretty awesome skull flag, feel free to comment and fill in the details.
I can sorta relate to this unorthodox but absolutely compelling MOC by timofey_tkachev. With the present political climate, continual angst on social media, equipment failure, frustrating clients and a creative dry spell, yeah, I can totally relate to this. I think just about everybody could use a primal skull scream, then carry on.
This eye-catching MOC by builder W. Navarre looks right out of an 80's fantasy movie, and I love that. It also seems to tipping it's hat to Pirates of the Caribbean, which is also pretty awesome. I think with some tweaking and more play features (and of course, good guys and bad guys) something like this would be a cool official set.
