Goblin House

Tazmaniac is back with another feast for the eyes, a goblin house. There is so much rich detail in this MOC you can look at it for ages, and still keep discovering new stuff. The flippers on the kilt and the roof are especially cool, and who can resist a derp-eyed goblin?

Rooftop Turtles

OK kids, it's time for a visual effects/LEGO mashup. This MOC employs a technique called forced perspective, where items of diminishing scale are placed to give a greater sense of distance. The use of color in the background is excellent as well, implying what's called aerial perspective where things become less contrasty with distance because of particulate matter in the air. Oh, and hey...turtles.

The Four Horses Of The Apocalypse

Shaman

This is quite possibly the greatest use of LEGO bands I've ever seen. Not only do they add shape and contour, but the color contrast and design is brilliant. And that's just one aspect of this overall stunning MOC. Excellent work Brickthing.

Magic Cube

I have a Taco Bell promotional item from Star Wars Episode 1 (yeah, I kept it, whatevs) with this same principle. I remember thinking it would be possible to build in LEGO, but never attempted it. I might just have to put one of these together some day, they're endlessly fascinating.

LEGO Mixer

LoctiteGirl is back with another stunning MOC, a LEGO digital mixer. From a thumbnail you would swear it's just a picture of a mixer. The detail and authenticity is amazing, click through for many more pictures.

Gunnlöð

Gunnlöð (gunled) is a concept of future heavy equipment. And I'd say the future looks awesome. Imagine watching a construction site with a few of these quadruped behemoths moving earth and lumbering about, fascinating. Nice one Izzo.

Rikka Takanashi

MikeVd is back with another anime character I know nothing about, but can't take my eyes off. This is Rikka Takanashi, who keeps her "Wicked eye" covered with an eye patch. 

Astra And Proteus

These small but diligent robots from Rogue Bantha are as cute as they are clever. That's a whole lot of excellent part use and brilliant design in two small packages. 

Cthuluhu Is Watching

It's just like a god of the underworld isn't it? You're there, minding your own business, getting ready to dive into a delicious plate of pasta and there he is, looking in the window. Can't a guy enjoy a little lunch without getting creeped on?!? 

R101-C Assault Rifle

Wow, this is a serious looking weapon. Nick Brick is back with another amazing prop replica, this time from the much anticipated game Titanfall. Just look at all that detail and outstanding part use, it's a real thing of beauty.

Merida

This is a pretty interesting MOC, part sculpture, part art, part character. I think a whole series of these of Disney princesses would be awesome. I look forward to seeing it in person at BrickCon next week on the Bricks of Character table. 

The Wizard

This is a wonderfully whimsical wee wizard by Lego-Man-at-arms. There's a lot going on here clever part use wise, but let's talk about the most obvious feature...best use of croissants ever!

LEGO Room

I want one of these some day. Right now my build area is a quarter of my garage. It's not too shabby though with some super-size shelves and a couple tables from Ikea. But wouldn't a place like this to build be totally sweet?  I might go with a slightly different color scheme though...yellow flowers.

Borris The Pirate Jigbot

This little guy oozes character. I can totally see him springing to life in a classic Harryhausen flick. I have no idea how those eyes are attached, but check out how the top of the head is attached, genius! Excellent work Brickthing.

The Dark Road

It's always amazing to me what sparks creativity and art. This is a great example of how just "letting it happen" can lead to such great things. This started out as a tree, and evolved into a terrifying ghoul. Nice work Derfel Cadarn.
 

PVC Chess

BrickCon is almost here (I Probably better get building huh?) and the theme this year is Pigs VS Cows. This chess set by Dodge is but a taste of the barnyard wackiness that is sure to be on the convention floor next week. 

Assembly Line

This little MOC by customBRICKS caught my eye. It's to promote their new biohazard containers, both empty and full. The build is clean and very nicely photographed, but what cracks me up is the notion that somewhere out there is an assembly line just diligently cranking out containers of hazardous green goo.

Boom!

Judging by the Hensler-Murmont scale of nerd popularity (namely the number of costumes worn of a particular character at Comic-Con), Deadpool is wildly popular. But I'm actually more excited by this MOC. The explosion is way cool and that motorcycle is just totally awesome.

Goliath

I really like the aesthetics on this ship. It's like a combination of Star Trek and Star Wars sensibilities, but with it's own flair. Excellent use of color, detail and especially proportions. And the lettering is brick built, outstanding. She's a beauty TranceM89.
