Mmmmmmm
/Dwarves Ready For Adventure
/As anticipation of the second chapter the The Hobbit, several MOCs have been appearing. But few are as phenomenal as these. Bombur, Bofur and Bifur look ready for some serious adventure. You do realize Pate-keetongu, than now that you you've made this many, you're obligated to make the entire party, right? (and I can't wait to see it)
Roadkill - The Gipsy
/Now this is a seriously badass rod. With Halloween only two weeks away this seems perfectly timed. It's dark, angry and intimidating. Can you imagine what that engine would sound like?
Wings Of Hope
/Some builders just operate on a different level, Legohaulic is one of them. As if this gorgeous MOC wasn't impressive enough, the wings actually fold as you can see in the video below, Amazing.
Lecture Theater
/This is absolutely beautiful. Not only from an aesthetic perspective, but also from an architectural viewpoint. The use of proper structural support in this MOC actually ADDS to it's beauty, that's an accomplishment. And just look at that floor! I'm gobsmacked. Outstanding work qi_tah.
"Good Luck, And May The Force Be With You"
/What better way to start off a Friday than with a cool little Star Wars MOC. This isn't the greatest photo, but I really dig these micro scale X-Wings by Miro78. The use of the doors as wings and the printed round tiles is inspired. The nose is a little funny, maybe just a cheese slope would have worked. And before anyone comments, I know and I'm sure Miro knows that the S-foils would not be in attack position while in landing mode.
SKULLS!
/From the people that brought you Pigs Vs Cows minifigure heads comes the next big thing, skulls. What better way to celebrate the spirit of halloween than to get behind this Kickstarter project and get yourself some nifty little skulls? Go there, do that.
Dragonfly VTOL
/If you were at BrickCon you certainly saw HUB-14, a large scale collaborative build. This awesome little VTOL by porschecm2 was built for it, and just shows the level of skill and attention to detail that went into it.
Spooky
/I love halloween. The decorations, the costumes, the music, the movies, the treats, the parties, it's all so much ghoulish fun. I also really like the creepy MOCs that crop up every year. This tree by mihaimariusmihu is one of the first I've seen of the season, and it's wonderful. Check out his photostream for other macabre builds.
Viking Fortress
/I love a little winter scene, and this is a fine example. The cracked ice is a great effect, and the snow caps on everything is very effective. Although it would appear that the little horns are just precariously balanced on those windows. Nice work Lukasz.
