BrickNerd 2024: Numbers and New Years Resolutions
/Four years ago, we brought BrickNerd back to life with a mission to celebrate the creativity of the LEGO community, share the stories of both builders and builds, and provide a place to really get nerdy about the bricks. Every year since then, we’ve been amazed by the positive reception to all of our hard work and how much we’ve been able to accomplish together.
As 2024 comes to a close, we wanted to share with you some of the numbers, notable articles, and New Year resolutions for 2025.
Reflecting on 2024
Looking back, it’s incredible to see all that BrickNerd achieved in 2024. We published many excellent articles, hosted gatherings at dozens of events, collaborated with some truly exceptional people, and awarded many more of our “Nerd of Note” awards. We even helped make the internet a little more “AdoraBuild.”
We’ve also continued trying to help increase representation and visibility of all perspectives throughout the LEGO community. The map below shows the countries we’ve highlighted through features on their cultures, communities, builders, or events. We’ve worked hard to represent a wide range of voices, but there’s still more ground to cover!
We’re deeply honored by the global support and excitement for BrickNerd and everything it stands for. This platform exists for you—our fellow LEGO enthusiasts—to share, learn, and grow together. Now, let’s dive into the numbers from 2024 to reflect on what we’ve accomplished as a community.
