Builder jtheels is back with a few new Brick Buddies to add to his ever-growing collection. It never fails to please and amaze me how a character can be conveyed in just a handful of bricks, and JT has mastered the minimalist approach. A couple of these are pretty easy, but can you guess them all? Click through for the reveal of each.
How does your scalp feel, Itchy? Good, because builder jtheels has the prescription for that because you'll be scratching your head trying to figure this out. You may have seen his brilliantly simple series of MOCs called Brick Buddies, absolutely basic characters from pop culture, but with the logo or catch phrase from the show or movie they're from it's obvious. Well now he's collected 89 of these blocky little wonders into one place, with no added graphics. How many can you name? Some will be easy, some will be hard, and I'm guessing some will be impossible. Are you up to the challenge?
When I attended Brick Magic I saw these in person and loved them. I contented myself for several minutes, maybe more than I remember, just staring at them all and trying to identify who they were. Well, builder jtheels has made it easy by putting the names on them, but they're still fascinating to look at (and I still haven't figured out who's standing next to Mr. Krabs).
