What are the odds that we'd get two back to back brilliant kinetic sculptures in one day? In celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary builder JK Brickworks built this amazing mechanical display of two fur traders canoeing in some distant northern waterway. A kinetic LEGO sculpture, or automaton, of two figures paddling a canoe. It's designed in the style of the Voyageurs, who were French Canadian fur traders, and built in celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary year. It can be manually operated with a hand crank, or motorized using the LEGO Power Functions system.
