To the vikings he was the god of war, to nerds he's Thor's dad, and to LEGO fans he's fantastic relief sculpture by 2nd Life Bricks. It's Odin, and no matter who is is to you, you have to agree this is a fine bit of building.

Griffin

Mashups are nothing new, just ask the ancient Greeks, they were combining animals way before it was cool. The griffin has the back end and tail of a lion, and the front end and head of an eagle. The king of the beasts and the king of the sky in one animal, marvelously realized by lisqr.
