W3-5T and W4-RD

This makes my nerd heart go pitter patter. Builder Pete Reid brings us this dynamic duo mashup of some of his classic robot forms in a brand new crimefighting configuration. Meet W3-5T and W4-RD (an absolutely brilliant name for these two, think about it), Gotham's cure for crime. I would totally read this comic, or watch this movie, over and over.

Digital Ombudsman

I will admit to having never heard the term ombudsman before seeing this wonderful robot MOC by the venerable Pete Reid. And I can say after reading the description, I think the human version would be intimidating enough, but if this guy showed up to investigate some maladministration on my part, I'd be seeking another career. Read more about him and his clever use of "bar with towball" on The New Elementary.

Naughty Robot

Pete Reid and Chris Salt have stumbled across some evidence of some otherworldly electro-mechanical mischievery. This little robot really means no harm, but he is a little shy, and just a tad clumsy. Check out the video.

If you've read the best Lego book in the world (http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Space-Building-Peter-Reid/dp/1593275218/), you may recognise the context. If not, well, I guess you're just going to have to read it. This is really just a Blender animation test. It's not quite The Lego Movie but, hey, we all have to start somewhere.
