This is great! I can't decide if I'm more reminded of the movie, or the classic Lucasarts game. Either way Indy's heading out the window. There's lots to love here, with "hidden" surprises all through. Nice work PuCCi0!
I have to admit I don't understand the game, or the appeal of figures designed to trigger a game (insert "old guy" comment here). But I appreciate a fine build, and this is sweet. I especially like the eyes. There's a lot of contouring and sculpting in such a small space
I wouldn't normally post a digital model, but I'll make an exception for this baby. I know that the designers took direct inspiration from hotrods when designing the speeders for EP1, so it seems fitting that it should come full circle. Or as Vader would say "the circle is now complete". I can see this parked in front of Mel's, waiting for a milkshake to be delivered by droid.
Ben Caulkins has done it again. The curves, detail, lettering and finish work on this piece are all outstanding. It took Ben seven months to complete this, but it was time well spent. Art can't be rushed, and there is no doubt about it, this is art.
In the heat of battle, one works up an appetite. And what's better to satisfy the pangs and boost morale than a nice piece of cake and tea? Well, Suzy Squirrel has the troops covered with this adorable field kitchen. Another amazing piece from the travel LEGO kit of Galaktek.
I remember vividly building the Monogram Red Baron model as a child, this excellent build from Flickr user SPARKART! is a perfect homage. Great use of the Technic Darth Vader helmet.
Steampunk is probably one of the most difficult to define, and master, genres of building. Some MOCs you look at and instantly think "steam", others fall short. And it's usually not really apparent why. You can't just say "should have more _____ and it would work". This MOC caught my eye, it's got great posture, excellent lines and wonderful detail. And there's no doubt about it, she's steamy.
I've never been all that much into comics, but there were certainly specific characters I enjoyed as a kid. Iron Man and Spiderman were my favorites. But I was always a bit baffled when characters from different comics were mashed together, I just didn't get it. For instance Justice League left me wondering why the hell Aqua Man was there. It wasn't until I saw Avengers that I understood how that union could really work, and work it did. Now Joel Baker has assembled (get it?) his own team in CudeDude form.
Hmm, second video game post in a row. But I couldn't help myself, it's Monkey Island! Guybrush Threepwood lives! There's a lot to love here, detail everywhere you look. Oh, Lucasarts, we miss you.
I'm a Nintendo nerd, so what? But to tell the truth I've never really gotten into SSB, at least not to the level my boys did. They would play for hours and hours. But this is a fun little build, and iconic. I especially like the roof sections on the base, stellar.
I thought this was just a photograph of a truck. There's always a little rush of excitement to realize something you thought was real is brick built. I'm also a bit of a sucker for chrome, so this one packs a punch. I can't imagine how much was spent on custom chrome bricks but as far as I'm concerned it's a good investment, we all win.

This is hands down one of the slickest ships I've ever seen. The angles, clean lines, color, gap filling, contours, details, greeblies...it's all perfect. I just want to swoosh the hell out of this thing.
I appreciate a good micro build, and this one caught my eye. According to Flickr user @fgr62 it is inspired by a BBC news report about a wedding prank taken to the next level, but to tell the truth it looks exactly like the little homes on the water front in Marina del Rey. Overall, a very clean and attractive build.
Holy cow! This ship is jaw dropping. It's only by looking carefully you can actually see the scale. With excellent use of greeblies and a fantastic balance of broad and fine strokes it defies logic. I can just imagine it cinematically lit, gracefully making it's way to a waiting nearby moon. Awesome work Kyle.
This is a seriously impressive mech. The stance, the coloration, the detail and the design are all impressive. Combine that with good photography and this is the total package. Click through for many more pics of this awesome MOC.
Toby digs his digger, at least according to the builder of this nifty little MOC. Inspired by D-Town Cracka's Friends Vs Fabuland Category of the 2013 Military Build Competition, it's both cute and imposing. I like the humor combined with deadly looks, but what really impresses me is that this is built from what Flickr user Galaktek describes as a "travel LEGO kit". I can truly relate, having had to do the same thing several times. The limited stock is both frustrating and challenging at the same time, but some great building can be accomplished.
Wow, this isn't fair, two astonishing MOCs in the same week. Mark Stafford, you are a force to be reckoned with. This ship is amazing, the SNOT lettering and color detailing are...wow...just wow.
