Wings Of Hope
/Some builders just operate on a different level, Legohaulic is one of them. As if this gorgeous MOC wasn't impressive enough, the wings actually fold as you can see in the video below, Amazing.

This is absolutely beautiful. Not only from an aesthetic perspective, but also from an architectural viewpoint. The use of proper structural support in this MOC actually ADDS to it's beauty, that's an accomplishment. And just look at that floor! I'm gobsmacked. Outstanding work qi_tah.
What better way to start off a Friday than with a cool little Star Wars MOC. This isn't the greatest photo, but I really dig these micro scale X-Wings by Miro78. The use of the doors as wings and the printed round tiles is inspired. The nose is a little funny, maybe just a cheese slope would have worked. And before anyone comments, I know and I'm sure Miro knows that the S-foils would not be in attack position while in landing mode.
If you were at BrickCon you certainly saw HUB-14, a large scale collaborative build. This awesome little VTOL by porschecm2 was built for it, and just shows the level of skill and attention to detail that went into it.
I love halloween. The decorations, the costumes, the music, the movies, the treats, the parties, it's all so much ghoulish fun. I also really like the creepy MOCs that crop up every year. This tree by mihaimariusmihu is one of the first I've seen of the season, and it's wonderful. Check out his photostream for other macabre builds.
I love a little winter scene, and this is a fine example. The cracked ice is a great effect, and the snow caps on everything is very effective. Although it would appear that the little horns are just precariously balanced on those windows. Nice work Lukasz.
Being a California native, the coastline is part of my life, and I'm thankful for the service of the men and women of the Coastguard. This MOC by mmbace captures the cutter perfectly, including the iconic red stripe at the front (brick-built even!). This ship is one of the coolest in all the branches, usurped only by the Navy hovercraft fleet in my opinion.
This cool steampunk MOC comes from Gabe Umland. It depicts Lahair on the deck of the Alegna, a floating boat. I love the design, it sorta reminds me of Mr. Kim's boat in Fifth Element, like a junk with no sail.
Legohaulic has crafted these emblems representing the five branches of the US military. They are, from left to right: Marines, Coastguard, Air Force, Navy and Army. These MOCs will be available at Creations for Charity.
Iron Builder separates the builders from the BUILDERS, as they craft marvelous MOCs at a frightening pace. TBB blogger and Iron Builder chairman Nannan has built this fantasy arena where great battles take place. And you can own it! Not only that but it can be signed by both chairmen and eight iron builders! It will be auctioned off at Creations for Charity very soon.
You can practically hear the faint minstrel music in the background, smell the dust in the air, taste the mead and feel the aged wood in this MOC by MinifigNick. So much detail and texture, I especially like the banners and the floor.
Well, this is quite the mashup, two Stephen King novels and LEGO. That was exactly the challenge for pif500 in the MocOlympics, and the results just work. Who knew It and The Shining could be combined.
Flickr user tkh brings us Nitroplus's iconic mascot Super Sonico. She's sporting her trademark headphones and classic curves in LEGO form here. Gotta love that pink hair.
