Nola Vivace
/This lovely beast springs from the imagination of Lego Builders. According to the designer it's influenced by the Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren MP4-12C, and Rossion Q1. All I know is it would be right at home in a Bond movie or ripping around the track on Top Gear. Or perhaps a certain Bruce Wayne would be interested in a test drive.
1930's Fire Engine
/This little fire engine from Brickthing is loaded with oodles of clever building. Everywhere you look there's something really interesting going on. I especially like the front fender attachments and the angled body sides, very cool.
American Graffiti
/I remember seeing American Graffiti when I was a kid. It couldn't have been when it was originally released because I was only 5, but I remember seeing it in a theater (we mainly went because it had Richie Cunningham and cool cars in it). I do recall being quite smitten with this beast, and I still am, especially rendered in my favorite bricks by none other than the Mad Physicist himself.
Shelby GT500
/This is a seriously mean looking machine. Shelby is synonymous with muscle, and this MOC by Sheepo is faithful to the name. There's quite a few pictures of this beast on Flickr, click through to gawk.
You Scream, I Scream...
/There was no mistaking it. When we heard that distinctive music droning pitifully out of that nearly broken loud speaker we knew what was a nearby. Then it became a desperate race to find mom or dad, make an impassioned plea for some money then charge into the street, frantically searching for the direction of the sound. The ice cream truck was here. Sweet little build Kos.
Riddle Me This
/*whonk* (sound of jaw hitting counter top). This is a seriously cool hot rod inspired by Batman villain The Riddler. Once again _Tiler delivers top-notch building and excellent photography, this is gorgeous.
Vrooom!
/There are few things in the automotive world more stirring and lovely than vintage race cars. And one brick-built with skill and photographed really well is just and pulse-pounding. Check out this Ferrari by Bob Alexander. I just want to reach in the screen and vrooom it all over the floor.
Batrod
/Here at BrickNerd we like to dredge up the past, like that one time this guy's parents were murdered and he became a billionaire vigilante super hero. This is one of my favorite batmobiles of all time, the Batrod by _Tiler. Not only is this a brilliant build, the photography is top notch. Amazing what you can do with a little patience and a desk lamp.
Riverside Fire Chief
/Here at BrickNerd we look back from time to time, even back to the 30's. Guy Himber brought us this charming and delightful cruiser. Sure there's some modified parts in there, but it's Guy, he's a perpetual tinkerer.
Zoinks!
/This Mystery Machine is adorable. I grew up watching the antics of Scooby and the gang. Sure it was formulaic, yes it was predictable, of course Daphne is the hot one (the movie turned that one on it's head eh?) but everyone really watched for Shaggy and Scooby. The best total coward heroes ever created. Nice work Kloou, now I'm craving Scooby Snacks.
