The Wizard

This is a wonderfully whimsical wee wizard by Lego-Man-at-arms. There's a lot going on here clever part use wise, but let's talk about the most obvious feature...best use of croissants ever!

LEGO Room

I want one of these some day. Right now my build area is a quarter of my garage. It's not too shabby though with some super-size shelves and a couple tables from Ikea. But wouldn't a place like this to build be totally sweet?  I might go with a slightly different color scheme though...yellow flowers.

Borris The Pirate Jigbot

This little guy oozes character. I can totally see him springing to life in a classic Harryhausen flick. I have no idea how those eyes are attached, but check out how the top of the head is attached, genius! Excellent work Brickthing.

The Dark Road

It's always amazing to me what sparks creativity and art. This is a great example of how just "letting it happen" can lead to such great things. This started out as a tree, and evolved into a terrifying ghoul. Nice work Derfel Cadarn.
 

PVC Chess

BrickCon is almost here (I Probably better get building huh?) and the theme this year is Pigs VS Cows. This chess set by Dodge is but a taste of the barnyard wackiness that is sure to be on the convention floor next week. 

Assembly Line

This little MOC by customBRICKS caught my eye. It's to promote their new biohazard containers, both empty and full. The build is clean and very nicely photographed, but what cracks me up is the notion that somewhere out there is an assembly line just diligently cranking out containers of hazardous green goo.

Boom!

Judging by the Hensler-Murmont scale of nerd popularity (namely the number of costumes worn of a particular character at Comic-Con), Deadpool is wildly popular. But I'm actually more excited by this MOC. The explosion is way cool and that motorcycle is just totally awesome.

Goliath

I really like the aesthetics on this ship. It's like a combination of Star Trek and Star Wars sensibilities, but with it's own flair. Excellent use of color, detail and especially proportions. And the lettering is brick built, outstanding. She's a beauty TranceM89.

Mighty No. 9

Mega Man fans rejoice, Beck is here. No it's not a sequel to Mega Man, but it's from Keiji Inafune and the same veteran team. Many consider it the "spiritual successor". Crowdfunded from a highly successful Kickstarter campaign (which is still going by the way) fans can expect to see this game in 2015. Bruce Lowell will probably be first in line.

Menacing Hardsuit

This hardsuit (I'm assuming it's a hardsuit, there's no description) by Tsan-Nien looks ready for action.  I really like the arms on this thing, very cool. I don't know if it's a happy accident, but the photo on this one has a grungy immediacy to it, with blurred vignetting and barrel distortion adding drama instead of flaw, I dig it.

A Study In Scale

Sure some people have build sig figs of themselves, some may have even built a CudeDude self portrait. But have you ever seen four scales? Lego-Man-at-arms has done just that with this awesome little (or not so little) collection.

Hero Factory Sphere

The notion that you could build stable geometric solids with Bionicle or Hero Factory would not have occurred to me not very long ago. But builders like NorbyZERO and Sparkytron have opened my eyes. This sphere is genius.

When Minotaurs Attack...Tonight At 11

There's no description for this, nor is the name of the image particularly helpful, but it's a pretty stunning build. There's loads of detail on this MOC, everywhere you look. And some really cool and subtle (and not so subtle) architecture techniques. Click through to check out the larger image, it's worth it.

Kubelwagen

Ah, the Kubelwagen, grandpappy of the notorious VW Type 181, the Thing. I've always had a soft spot for vintage VW, even this ugly old beast. Legohaulic built this awesome little MOC as a commission, and totally nailed it.

Zam's Blaster

I love a good prop reproduction, and this one is sweet. The tapered barrel is especially nice, and the grip, wow. A very clean and elegant build, nice work Cole. 

Captain America Vs The Red Skull

Kaboom! Wasn't expecting that were you? The Cap makes his own door in this cool little diorama by Julius No. I love captured action, especially in photos (in real life it's always cool, but a little weird) and the this wall-busting action is excellent. And check out that custom Red Skull figure, nice!

Black Box Of Magic

Cast ye eyes upon this matey, but beware...there be magic in this here box, black magic for sure. Ye be warned.

Silver Moon

Avast there, here be a fine example of mechanical metal suit, and it be shiny as well. And that be a mighty strange cannon it carries, but deadly no doubt. You have plenty to fear landlubbers, take heed.

Saddle Up Apone...

I just watched this movie the other night. Still holds up beautifully 27 years later. This MOC depicts the scene where they discover the location of the colonists.  This brilliantly detailed and lit interior comes from Missing Brick, who has a whole series excellent scenes from Aliens. Custom minifigs by Matthias.

The Black Pearl

BricksOnWheels is a builder after my own heart.  Not only am I a big Pirates of the Caribbean fan (the ride and the movies...well, some of the movies) but I actually spent nearly a year of my life in London working on POTC4. This pirate themed Scania truck is just beautiful, and I recognized this lovely pirate as soon as I saw her.
